killer geese on the loose

We were in Idaho Falls and stopped by Riverside drive where there were hordes of angry geese, of which Randall had no fear in chasing the geese we had to stop him from getting eaten several times. There was a sign that instructed dog owners to clean up after their pet went potty but Isaac had a hard time being able to tell weather or not a band of small wiener dogs had been there or if it was goose poop. Jacob was very excited to see the water he called it the beach, unfortunately when he touched the water with his finger he exclaimed, "Oh, Man that is cold mommy it is cold." I guess it was not the beach he remembers.

Although we are on the mainland now, we will every once in a while break out the aloha wear. This is in Oregon at Sarah's house just after Shelby was baptised. What a wonderful day the sun was shining family was everywhere and the food was delicious.

Isaac's First attempt

Well I've decided that where ever you live you have ups and downs. We have moved to Idaho now and I've started classes for the spring/fall track. Turns out to remain a student you only have to be taking one class. It also turns out to have a job on the school campus where I was hoping to work you have to have 12 credits or more and then you have to keep up that level every semester to keep the job. Turns out BYU-Hawaii was a better solution for unemployed student whilst BYU-Idaho is a better solution for housing... I guess you just can't have it all. while I know that BYU-Hawaii is working really hard to fix their housing issue, I guess BYU-Idaho expects you to find a job in the community.

We have settled in to Idaho now and I think the only thing we are missing is a dryer. Currently we hang our clothes to dry on some lovingly donated clothes racks. We tried several times to get a dryer for free or with money and I think I have given up on getting one for now or it has slipped several spots on my priority list. For now it will have to wait like a hungry croc under the surface at the local watering hole.

I think that it is officially summer now, we've had a total of four days of straight sunshine now. I think that signifies that it is summer now. We've had a couple of scorchers, I think that all of us have have gotten a little red here and there. The kids are reverting back to their Hawaiian dress habits... no shoes no shirts or for Randall sometimes just his diaper.

Went to the dentist for the first time in seven or eight years? Good news NO CAVITIES! Bad news REALLY SENSITIVE TEETH! Turns out all that plaque and tarter build up I had that is *apparently* really bad for you, turns out it allowed me the superhuman fete of taking bites out of ice cream and other really cold or hot items with out any apperent side effects. Now I take an Advil before every meal and that also means I have to cut out the snacks in between unless I want to deal with huge amounts of pain. Move over atkins diet, here comes my diet of PAIN! All joking aside I am glad I don't have anymore cavities and even though I will look longingly at the plates of food or even cans of corn, I will always be thankful for dodging the drill.

I guess since dinner is on the table I gotta go and take my Advil! so till next time see ya!
